How do you view India’s role as a competitive manufacturing base for construction & mining equipment components over the next 3–5 years?

India is transitioning from job-work level fabrication to engineered, process-driven manufacturing. With capacity creation, automation, and certification adoption accelerating, India is already shifting from “cost advantage” to “capability advantage”.

In the next 3–5 years, India will become a serious Tier-1 sourcing hub for global CE OEMs – not just as a machining/fabrication base, but as a full-stack assembly partner, offering integrated solutions, shorter cycle times, and faster PPAP industrialisation.

How are ABHI-TECH’s capabilities across precision machining, MS/SS fabrication and complex mechanical assemblies delivering value to global OEMs?

Our customers benefit from a single integrated manufacturing partner – laser cutting, heavy fabrication, welding, machining up to 12 meters and assembly under one roof. This eliminates multi-vendor dependency, reduces logistics cost, ensures weld-to-machine accuracy, and improves product stability. Our value is not only lower cost – it’s higher reliability, predictable quality, and faster NPI onboarding.

As global OEMs demand “ready-to-assemble” components with zero-defect culture, ABHI-TECH is advancing its quality systems, NDT discipline, digital manufacturing practices and certification roadmap to match international expectations. We have adopted international welding & process discipline; our welders are ASME qualified, we are under certification for EN ISO 3834, and NDT methods like RT / MPT / DPT are applied as standard. We are rolling out digital production traceability and weld-data monitoring. Standardisation, fixtures, jigs, Poka-Yoke and process repeatability are being built at plant level. Our objective is simple – supply “zero rework, zero deviation” assemblies.

How is ABHI-TECH strengthening its global supply-chain readiness, export capability and cross-border fulfilment models?

Abhitech
We are directly exporting to leading European OEMs and we have logistics partners in EU + US channels. Our packaging, documentation, E2E traceability and export compliance is standardised. We operate as a “Global Supply Chain Partner from India” – supporting JIT dispatches, multi-plant load balancing, and ramp-up scalability. Our third plant commissioning will further double our export readiness.

What are the company’s initiatives to reduce waste, optimise material utilization, and move toward cleaner fabrication?

We are adopting nesting optimisation, energy-efficient laser cutting, gas-efficient welding technologies and are installing a fully controlled shot-blast + paint line for better coating efficiency. We are introducing digital MRP driven material utilisation tracking and focusing on process-based efficiency – less grinding, more accuracy at first weld. Sustainability for us is not a branding word, it is a cost and cycle-time advantage.

Along with capacity expansion, how is ABHI-TECH developing technical skills, and a culture of continuous learning, innovation and inclusiveness in its workforce?

We focus on training at machine-side and shop-floor level – not classroom theory. Each new welding or machined part gets internal pilot-training before live production. We are building team capacity faster than equipment capacity – because capability comes from people, not machines. We maintain a culture where authority is not concentrated – but responsibility is shared. This mindset supports continuous innovation.

Looking ahead, what new technologies, manufacturing processes, and global partnerships are planned to further accelerate ABHI-TECH’s positioning as a reliable “Make in India, for global OEMs” manufacturing partner?

We are adding automation in fit-up & welding, increasing our long-bed machining capacity, deploying real-time digital production dashboards, and scaling assembly capability so OEMs can outsource complete functional modules. We are also establishing collaborations with international partners for technology adoption and capacity sharing. Our direction is clear – ABHI-TECH is moving towards being a global, multi-plant, high-reliability Tier-1 build partner from India.

Contract manufacturing and white-label product manufacturing is rising globally. How is ABHI-TECH preparing to deliver full product manufacturing for US, European & Turkish OEMs?

This is a major growth engine. OEMs are realising that India can deliver complete product manufacturing — not just parts. ABHI-TECH is positioned as a Contract Manufacturing + White-Label Manufacturing Partner for global brands, where product is engineered by OEM, manufactured, assembled, tested & shipped under OEM brand from our facility. This model reduces OEM capex, accelerates market entry and offers controlled costs, and ABHI-TECH is building capacity, systems and partnerships exactly for this model.
