KYB Conmat Stationary Concrete Batching Plant ensuring high quality construction of 700-ft high Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir at Mathura in UP
Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, slated to be the world's tallest temple, is under construction at Vrindavan, Mathura. Involving an investment of ₹300 crore, it will be one of the most expensively built temples in the world by ISKCON Bangalore. It has a footprint of about 5 acres and a built-up area of 5,40,000 sq.ft. The temple will bring vibrancy to the area with a host of festivals and religious activities throughout the year.
A look-alike of the verdant forests of Vrindavan will be recreated around this magnificent temple from descriptions in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, with the twelve forests of Braj. A Krishna Lila Theme Park will include themed storytelling areas, musical fountains, gardens, lawns, and water bodies. Other attractions will be a Yamuna creek with boating, Braj heritage village, a ‘goshala’ to recreate the atmosphere of the Vrindavan of Lord Krishna, a Krishna Heritage museum and Bhagavad-Gita Expo, lecture halls, and a Centre for Krishna heritage studies.
KYB-Conmat’s stationary concrete batching plant CRP-900 IL5 has been selected for construction of the prestigious project. “The project, is not of conventional design, rather, it is carved, circular and three-dimensional, which makes it quite challenging as such architecture is being developed for the first time in India, and is at an international level with its beautiful architecture,” comments Sailaj Verma, Senior VP- Sales at KYB-Conmat Pvt. Ltd.
He adds, “The VCM team wanted to partner with a reputed concrete company, which would be experienced and committed to the project. He informs that VCM’s team along with the project manager visited, KYB-Conmat’s head office at Vadodara, as they wanted the special SCC concrete for the temple. The Self Compacting Concrete is highly flowable, non-segregating, and can spread evenly to fill the formwork and encapsulate the reinforcement without any mechanical consolidation.
Satisfied with the process and the end-product, the team from Mathura placed an order for KYB Conmat’s 90 cubic meter/hour batching plant and three transit mixers of 7 cubic meter capacity.
