TIPL Launches SEM 658ZBar Loader

Recently, TIPL, the wholly owned subsidiary of TIL Limited entered into a marketing distributorship agreement with SEM [formerly the Shandong Engineering and Machinery Company-China] for its range of wheel loaders in TIPL territories of North and East India. SEM has been a successful company for about 50 years in China. In 2005, the company was acquired by Caterpillar and today it is a 100% subsidiary of Caterpillar. This acquisition of SEM has enabled Caterpillar to compete across the product segments – specially what has been defined as the ‘mid-tier ‘ segment .TIPL tie up with SEM also stems from the same objective- of expanding TIPL’s product portfolio, deepening market penetration and offering superior solutions to a wider cross-section of customers.
Recently, SEM Wheel Loader was launched in Delhi. The response from the customers was overwhelming. On the day of the launch itself, two machines were purchased by a valued customer from Punjab- reinforcing the enduing relation and trust the company shares with its partners. The next launch in Eastern region is scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar-Orissa.’
