SANY Heavy Industry India, a global leader in manufacturing of construction equipment including cranes (Crawler and mobile cranes) and excavators, is gearing up to escalate the future of Indian construction industry with its ultramodern and global quality product range. SANY India had hosted the biggest dealer-customer meet in Hyderabad. The meet titled as, "Sany Excavator - Excavate your Future & Excavate your Fortune” was an event providing unique experience of Sany Excavator’s real time performance.

Richard Deng, Managing Director of SANY India said, "the market of southern India particularly Hyderabad Market is key market for Sany. We have lot of satisfied and opinion makers for Sany in this market through our concreting and hoisting equipment. We like to leverage the same for our Excavator division also.”

"With a vision and back up from SANY Group, we are providing products for right applications with added value for money, with Excavator models ranging from 7.0 Tonnes to 23.5 Tonnes. SANY Excavator is a product designed, developed and manufactured by our Company based on long term experience in Earthmoving industry. With this experience, Sany has designed the whole excavator including the power system, Hydraulic system, main structure components and Electronic control system,” he added.

SANY India had established dealers who are representing the states as Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu. SANY’s unique 4S facility dealership showroom in Gadag, is the first of its kind by SANY Excavator Division in India to show the commitment towards the sales, service, spares & support to all its customers & associates of Karnataka & either neighbouring states, the same 4S facility will now be extended to the customers in Andhra Pradesh.

The company has already established a strong network of around 22 dealers across India to cater the business and provide the support to all its customers & associates. The company has set a target of scaling up this number to 25 dealers to provide 4S solutions (stock, sales, service & spares support).

After 12 years of development, Sany has successfully become the most competitive and strongest excavator manufacturer in China. In 2011, Sany surpassed all leading brands and became the No.1 excavator brand in China with total sales of over 20,000 units from 5ton to 200 ton. Sany excavator’s excellent performance and professional service has wildly accepted and acknowledged by Chinese customers. Since 2008, Sany is exporting its sophisticated excavator models. Sany excavator is providing the service and making contribution to infra projects in more than 50 countries. In order to serve the local market well, Sany has set up manufacturing facility in India, America, Germany and Brazil and produce the excavator tailored to meet the customers requirement.

SANY INDIA was established in December 2002. In India, Sany has corporate hub with Sany Overseas manufacturing plant at MIDC Chakan, Pune. Sany is spreading its wings further by appointing experienced and well established dealers to handle sales, service and parts support to market requirements of India and neighbouring countries. Sany Plant at Pune has the capacity to produce 3000 excavators per annum, along with concrete equipments and cranes.

In the year 2007, Sany group invested USD 60 million and purchased an 80-acres (about 333,000 sq m) plot at Chakan Industrial Area, Pune with a memorandum of Government of Maharashtra to build a new plant to satisfy the continuously increasing demand of construction machinery in the Indian market. This is the biggest FDI from China to India.
