CASE Launches New EX Series Backhoe Loaders and 1107 DX Compactor

CASE India showcased their market leading offerings for the construction and road building industries during Excon and also launched the new EX Series backhoe loaders and 1107 DX compactors, strengthening their product portfolio and leadership position.

Mr. Fabrizio Cepollina, CNH Industrial Construction Equipment APAC Vice President, commented: "The construction equipment market in the Asia Pacific region has been growing steadily and this trend is expected to continue. With the aim of improving CNH Industrial's presence in these strategic markets, we are investing in our product development and manufacturing facilities in India to support the growing demands of our customers in the region. The introduction of the new EX Series backhoe loaders is proof of our commitment for serving customers in the region with the best products and services that meet the requirements of their businesses."

Case Backhoe Loaders
The brand new EX Series backhoe loaders developed entirely in the Country to match the specific needs of the Indian construction market. The new Series of CASE backhoe loaders comprises three models – the 770 EX, 770 EX Magnum and 851 EX – ranging from 76 hp to 96 hp. The EX Series stands out for its fuel efficiency, powerful performance and reliability.

The EX Series backhoe loaders run a powerful and reliable S8000 engine, developed by FPT Industrial. The engine features an air aftercooler system that increases the density of the intake air, improving efficiency and decreasing fuel consumption. The powerful performance and fast response time coupled with fuel savings of up to 13% make it the most fuel efficient engine in the market.

More than 120,000 units of this proven engine have been produced at the CNH Industrial manufacturing facility in Greater Noida to power equipment for a variety of applications, including agricultural tractors, one of which is also on show.

Introduction of the 1107 DX Vibratory Soil Compactor from CASE completes the compactor line-up with the upgraded 752 and the smaller 450 DX. The new model takes operator comfort and safety to new levels, while delivering a reliable performance with excellent fuel efficiency. This new product delivers everything the industry would expect from the market leader of the compactor segment in India.

Mr. Anil Bhatia, Director Sales and Marketing - CASE Construction Equipment India, said about the launch of the new products: "We are expanding our offering for the Indian infrastructure industry with the introduction of the technologically advanced EX Series backhoe loaders and 1107 DX compactor. Our customers recognize us for proven product reliability and cost-efficiency. These two product lines have been developed to meet the specific requirements of our customers in terms of high fuel efficiency, high performance, comfort and visibility, serviceability and reliability."

Case DX Compactor
CASE's offering for customers in industrial, infrastructure and agriculture applications, in addition to the already popular backhoe loaders, also includes the successful skid steer loaders. The SR 150, together with the SR 130 model, represents the new generation skid steer loaders launched by the company earlier this year. These award-winning compact and multi-purpose machines set new standards with premium power, increased torque and enhanced operator comfort and visibility.

Besides these, the other products that were displayed for the road construction industry include 845B motor grader and 821F wheel loader.

The 845B motor grader features an FPT Industrial 6.7 liter engine with variable horsepower curves to match the requirements of various applications and deliver the best fuel efficiency. Whereas the F Series wheel loader 821F delivers fast acceleration, fast cycle times, high travel speeds and productivity, together with reduced fuel consumption and hence is well appreciated in the mining and quarry industries.

Mr. Abhijit Gupta, Managing Director – CASE Construction Equipment India, speaking at the launch said, "We believe that CASE India, with its wide range of products, can play an even bigger role in the sustainability of India's Infrastructure development needs. We are committed to make best-in-class products available to the Indian customers along with extensive nationwide parts and service support. CASE India currently leads the compaction equipment segment in India and holds the number 2 position in the backhoe loader segment."

The CASE display at Excon showcases the brand's wide product offering, fast pace of renewal and strong commitment to the Indian market, as over the 90% of its models have been launched in the past 12 months, raising the bar on productivity, reliability and fuel efficiency.
