For Heavy Lifting and Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) projects, Jet Trade offers a comprehensive range of tailored logistics services designed to meet the unique challenges of transporting large, heavy, or unconventional loads. Our services include Route Surveys and Feasibility Studies wherein we conduct a thorough analysis to identify the most suitable and shortest routes for transporting ODC cargo, considering factors such as clearance, road conditions, and safety requirements. We provide Customized Transportation Solutions such as trailers, hydraulic axles, and modular transport systems specifically designed to accommodate heavy and oversized cargo.

Our team handles all necessary permits and legal formalities required by government authorities for transportation of ODC materials. Project managers oversee the loading, unloading, and transportation processes to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
We adhere to safety guidelines to protect both the cargo and workers throughout the transportation process. We offer escort vehicles and traffic management services to ensure safe and smooth transport of ODC cargo, particularly in challenging and in high-traffic areas. Our real-time monitoring systems provide customers with immediate updates on the location and status of their ODC shipments. These services ensure that each ODC project is handled with precision, safety, and efficiency.

We provide specialized logistics solutions for various industries such as transformer companies for safe transport of large transformers essential for power generation and distribution. In heavy engineering companies, our expertise enables efficient movement of heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
For EOT crane manufacturers (up to 110 ft.), we guarantee secure transportation of large cranes for construction and industrial applications. Whether for agriculture or construction, we manage the logistics for transporting large storage silos. From excavators to loaders, we handle the logistics for all types of earth-moving equipment, and we facilitate delivery of machinery and components crucial for constructing cement plants.

Our logistics support includes transporting prefabricated buildings and construction materials. We oversee the transport of parts and machinery for railway projects, large shipping containers, structural components needed for towers and telecommunications infrastructure, oversized truck chassis, high-pressure tanks used in industries such as gas and chemicals.
Operating within India, we’ve managed some impressive heavy-lifting projects, demonstrating our capability to handle complex logistics and deliver results efficiently. We have handled cranes up to 110 ft; we recently moved a 14 ft. long, 11 ft. tall transformer weighing 38 tons; we successfully transported a 55 ft. long, 13 ft. tall, and 13 ft. wide tank weighing 29 tons which required intricate planning. A memorable project involved fitting three large earth-moving machines onto a single 50 ft. trailer. These projects highlight our ability to handle complex logistics and overcome challenges with innovative, reliable solutions.

Case Study
Project Name & Client: We collaborated with Jash Engineering and Kalpataru Projects, a prominent player in India’s construction industry, handling sectors ranging from power transmission to water supply and railways.
Project Duration: Approx. 10 months
Route Planning: Kalpataru’s sites are often located in remote and underdeveloped areas, requiring us to navigate unpaved and partially constructed roads (kaccha roads). With steep slopes presenting additional challenges, careful planning was essential to ensure the safety of both cargo and equipment.

Infrastructure: We deployed Hydra Cranes, excavators, and escort vehicles for this project. In areas with high-tension power lines, we stationed a government-appointed supervisor on-site, along with a project manager and additional team members for support.
Logistics & Fleet: Our primary resource was a fleet of 50 ft. trailers. Since the tanks exceeded trailer length, we balanced the load meticulously. Belts and lashings were used to secure the cargo, while sandbags or heavy stones were added to stabilize the trailer and prevent tipping.
Cargo safety: We used shock-proof gear and rain boots and added red flags, tape, and high-beam lights to ensure visibility from a distance. Our experienced team provided on-the-job training to new hires, equipping them to handle the complexities of such heavy-duty tasks.
Challenges: One of the biggest challenges was managing interactions with local farms along the route. Occasionally, crops or water pipes were unintentionally damaged; however, we ensured fair compensation for the farmers, which helped maintain positive relationships with the local community. This project exemplifies our commitment to safety, precision, and community engagement while overcoming the challenges of transporting oversized cargo.
