Bajaj Reinforcements LLP - Introduces Fibre Tuff heavy-duty synthetic fibres that offer a range of benefits to concrete
Fibre Tuff, macro synthetic polypropylene fibres, are heavy-duty synthetic fibres that are specially engineered for use as secondary reinforcements, providing excellent resistance to the post cracking capacity of concrete. They are replacing steel fibres in a range of applications, including ground supported slabs (both internal and external), sprayed concrete (shotcrete), and precast concrete units. The properties of Fibre Tuff are covered by BS EN 14889, fibre of concrete part 2, Polymer Fibre - definition, specification, and conformity.
Fibre Tuff features a unique continuous embossed surface, enabling the fibre to achieve maximum bonding with the cement matrix for optimum performance. Since Macro Structural Synthetic Fibres are highly resistant to acidic and alkaline environments, they do not require a concrete cover as protection against corrosion.
