YEIDA Approves Layout for Film City’s First Phase

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has approved the layout for the first phase of the Film City project, covering 230 acres in Sector-21. The project is led by film producer Boney Kapoor and is set to break ground in February with a completion timeline of eight years.

The first phase, awarded to Kapoor’s Bayview Projects in partnership with Bhutani Infra by the Uttar Pradesh government in June 2024, includes film production zones, commercial spaces, and green areas. YEIDA’s planning department has validated the master plan, paving the way for development.
