VMRDA Launches ₹75 Cr Infrastructure Projects in Pendurthi to Boost Connectivity

The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) has initiated infrastructure projects worth approximately ₹75 crore in the Pendurthi constituency of Andhra Pradesh, aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and improving civic amenities.
Key developments include the inauguration of an ₹8 crore convention centre in Chimalapalli and the laying of foundation stones for major road projects. These include the ₹15 crore expansion of a 3.12-km, 60-ft-wide master plan road in Pinagadi, and a ₹31 crore, 100-ft-wide road connecting Lankalapalem, Asakapalle, and Duvvada Railway Station roads. Additionally, a ₹24.5 crore project will link Duvvada Railway Station to Gollalapalem and Amruthapuram.
In Sabbavaram, a 40-ft-wide asphalt road from the Anakapalle National Highway to the Government Degree College is also under construction at a cost of ₹58.5 lakh.
