Vadodara launches three town planning schemes

In order to develop new areas beyond its current municipal limit, the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has embarked upon infrastructure development. The Vadodara Urban Development Authority (VUDA) is set to implement a series of projects and has decided to draw new town planning schemes in such areas. The proposal is for five town planning (TP) schemes in Bil-Chapad, Koyali and Undera villages bordering the city. According to sources, three town planning schemes are planned in the Bil-Chapad area while one each is in the Koyali and Undera villages. In all, the town planning schemes will cover an area of 1,180 hectares. Of this, the three schemes in Bil-Chapad put together will have an area of 838 hectares; Koyali will have 188 hectares; while Undera will have 154 hectares.
