Uttarakhand Approves ₹350 Cr MLA Fund; Greenlights Key Infra Projects

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved ₹350 crore for the MLA Fund Scheme for FY 2025–26, allocating ₹5 crore to each of the 70 legislators for development works in their constituencies.
Alongside the MLA grants, several major infrastructure projects have been sanctioned under the State Plan, with a focus on road connectivity, tourism, and public welfare.
In Pauri Garhwal, ₹3.71 crore has been approved for a new motor road from Dehalchauri via Chamapani-Dhaulkandi to Kanda Temple. Haridwar Rural will see ₹5.44 crore for a 36-metre span pre-stressed RCC bridge over the Pathri Roh River near Sukrasa village.
Rudraprayag has received ₹4.45 crore for strengthening the Khankara–Chhatikhal Motor Road, while ₹7.28 crore has been sanctioned for building a suspension bridge to the Panchkedar Shri Masta Madmaheshwar Temple in Ukhimath block.
In Tehri Garhwal’s Pratapnagar constituency, ₹3.61 crore will go toward upgrading the Syalgi–Juladgaon–Dodak–Thapla Motor Road. Additionally, ₹2.18 crore has been sanctioned for electricity supply works for the Manpur–Kashipur residential project under the PMAY (Urban) scheme.
