Rural Roads
Around 387 rural link roads across Phaphamau, Phulpur, Handia and Soraon assembly constituencies will be renovated following approval by Governor Anandiben Patel on a proposal submitted by the Public Works Department. A budget of Rs 56.86 crore has been released for the project covering a total length of 494.55 km.

The work will be executed by PWD Construction Division 4 (Kumbh Mela), which has initiated the tender process and plans to finalise agencies by February 20. Officials said the renovation will be completed within four months after award of contracts.

The reconstruction, undertaken as part of the state’s five-year road renewal cycle, will include both main roads and rural link routes to improve connectivity and ease transportation for residents in the region.
