UP fast tracks Ganga e-way with ₹2,000-cr infusion

Ganga Expressway
To fastrack the Ganga Expressway, the UP government has infused ₹2000 crore for its construction. One of the longest in India at 637-km, the Expressway will connect Meerut to Prayagraj. In a related development, shortly after the UP Budget 2020 was tabled in the Assembly, the CM made a flurry of announcements in connection with the construction of road infra projects across the state, apart from the Ganga Expressway. He said that the Purvanchal Expressway would be opened to public by the end of this fiscal and that the foundation stone of the Bundelkhand Expressway will be laid soon.
