State Govt Allocates ₹668 Cr to Convert Panchayat Roads into Concrete

The state government has sanctioned ₹668.30 crore for the conversion of 787 panchayat roads from asphalt to concrete, covering a total of 1,020 kilometres. This initiative aims to provide a permanent solution to the frequent deterioration of asphalt roads due to water accumulation and traffic movement. The roads will be 5.50 metres wide, and where concrete roads are not feasible, paver blocks will be installed.
