The luxury real estate arm of the auction house Sotheby's, Sotheby's International Realty, is all set to expand its presence in the Indian real estate sector, said sources, claiming that the first office as part of the expansion for India is being set up in Mumbai shortly, followed by Bengaluru, Goa, Chennai, Pune, and Kolkata. The expansion is being spearheaded by Dabur family's Amit Burman, who is going ahead with an experienced local institutional operator in the respective cities. Its team has experts and professionals drawn from private banking, luxury real estate, art and lifestyle businesses and has announced signing a 25-year exclusive master franchise agreement for all over India, with Realpro Realty Solutions. The property builder will focus on the luxury residential real estate market in key cities including New Delhi-NCR as this market is growing rapidly, said President and Chief Executive Officer, Philip White.
