Sobha sharpens Rs.3,000 cr realty plans

Adding to its project portfolio in the country real estate sector, Sobha Ltd plans to spend Rs.3,000 crore in building about 10 million square feet space in the immediate future. Score of projects belonged to the builder and few are joint venture development with its partners for which it has already acquired land parcels, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, J C Sharma said. Constructions are for apartments and villa development and their launch spreading across Bengaluru, Kochi, Pune, Chennai, Thrissur, Kozhikode, and Gurugram. In Bengaluru, the company is launching a project called Pristine, which is a residential project in Jakkur Bengaluru offering 2/3/4 BHK luxury apartments, row houses and penthouses. The company is planning at least two more project launches this quarter and there are other three to four projects at the various stages which would be launched in the near future.
