SEPC Wins Rs 269.69 Cr Railway Infrastructure Subcontract for Ajmer–Chanderiya Doubling Project

SEPC Ltd has secured a Rs 269.69 crore subcontract for railway infrastructure works under the Ajmer–Chanderiya Doubling Project of the Ajmer Division, North Western Railway (NWR). The contract was awarded by Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Ltd as part of the VPRPL–SBEL joint venture.

Under the JV’s supervision, SEPC will execute formation and civil works on the Mandpiya–Chanderiya section, including earthwork, construction of major and minor bridges, road under bridges, limited-height subways, foot over bridges, retaining structures, station buildings, platforms, staff quarters and associated facilities.

The scope also includes permanent way works such as supplying and transporting ballast, laying and linking broad-gauge track, and executing electrical and allied activities.

The project forms part of Indian Railways’ capacity augmentation drive to improve connectivity and operational efficiency on key routes.
