SecLink sets to get ₹22,000-cr Dharvi slum project
Dubai-based SecLink Group is all set to bag the ₹22,000-crore Dharvi slum redevelopment real estate project, said sources, reiterating that SecLink has quoted a higher investment price of ₹7,200 crore in comparison to Adani Infra's ₹4,529 crore, though the base price was set at ₹3,150 crore. The mega slum project, to be redeveloped with 80 per cent private stake and 20 per cent contribution from Dharavi Redevelopment Authority and that both the firms have also cleared technical scrutiny and their names have been sent to a high level committee spearheaded by Chief Secretary DK Jain. Though several infrastructure companies showed interest and attended the pre-bid meetings, only one formally submitted the bids. With December 28, 2018 as the last day for bidding, the deadline was extended to January 8 but attracted only one more response. Now with SecLink's and Adani Infra's quotations forwarded to the state-led panel but other factors like detailed plans, scope of work and timelines will also come into play for the final choice.
