₹56,000 Cr Power, Rail & Road Projects Launched in Telangana
In the power sector, the Prime Minister inaugurated NTPC’s 800 MW Telangana Super Thermal Power Project and dedicated 660 MW of the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project in Jharkhand. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for several power projects across different states, including solar and hydroelectric ventures.
Furthermore, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for multiple projects by National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (BSUL), Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN), and TUSCO, among others, contributing significantly to India's renewable energy capacity.
In the rail sector, the Prime Minister inaugurated the electrified Ambari - Adilabad - Pimpalkhuti rail line and laid the foundation for various National Highway projects aimed at improving connectivity within Telangana and with neighboring states like Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
