Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated four significant rail projects worth more than ₹940 crore in West Bengal, enhancing connectivity and boosting economic development in the region.

The inaugurated projects include the doubling of the Damodar - Mohishila rail line, the construction of the third line between Rampurhat and Murarai, the doubling of the Bazarsau - Azimganj rail line, and the new rail line connecting Azimganj to Murshidabad.

These initiatives are poised to enhance rail connectivity, streamline freight movement, and catalyze industrial and economic growth in West Bengal.
