PWD floats tender for Rs 291. 04-cr road project in UP

The Public Works Department (PWD) of Uttar Pradesh has initiated the bidding process for a road widening project on the Kosi Parikrama Marg in Ayodhya district. This significant infrastructure endeavor involves an investment of Rs. 291.4 crore. The scope of the project encompasses the four-laning of the road, stretching from ch 0.00 km to 25.393 km, covering a total distance of 23.943 km.

The PWD has set a strict timeline for the completion of the project, requiring it to be finished within 12 months. As a result, interested parties are urged to submit their bids by the deadline of May 24, 2023.

The road widening project on the Kosi Parikrama Marg is expected to enhance connectivity and provide improved infrastructure in the Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. By expanding the road to four lanes, the authorities aim to facilitate smoother traffic flow and accommodate the growing transportation needs of the area.
