To provide hassle-free transport facilities to the masses of the north eastern region, the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has floated tender for four laning of Balachera to Harangajao section of NH-54 starting from 275.000 km to 244.000 km in Assam under the East-West corridor. The construction work on the project will be completed in 24 months at an investment of ₹635.3 crore.
