The National Highways Authority of India has floated tender for works at Beas-Baba Bakala-Dera Baba Nanak Section in Punjab. It involves an investment of ₹452.16 crore, includes four-laning of the existing Beas-Baba Bakala-Dera Baba Nanak section (NH-503D) starting from Beas NH-3 and terminating at Kartarpur Sahib Corridor at Dera Baba Nanak from the start of Batala Bypass up to the intersection with Ajnala Gurdaspur Highway (NH-354) near Dera Baba Nanak. It will be executed on engineering procurement and construction model, and under the Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-II).
