NHAI floats tender for ₹1,367-cr highway projects

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has floated tender for six-laning of Aurangabad to Bihar-Jharkhand Border under different packages involving ₹1,367 crore combined investment. Package-1 involves six laning of Aurangabad to Bihar-Jharkhand Border (Chordaha) section of NH-2 from 180.000 km to 209.827 km (Package-I) in Bihar at ₹607.46 crore and Package-II involves section of NH-2 from 209.827 km to 249.525 km at a cost of ₹759.74 crore. The project will be executed on EPC Model under the Bharatmala Pariyojna and is expected to be completed in 24 months.
