MoRTH
The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highway has sanctioned ₹170.6 crore for the construction of a 2.2km long four-lane flyover and a service lane project for better connectivity between Sitapur Road and Faizabad Road in Uttar Pradesh. The project will come as a relief for over 30,000 commuters commuting on these routes daily. The proposal for the project was brought up by Gadkari and defence minister Rajnath Singh, while inaugurating the Tedhipulia flyover in April, this year. The 2.2km flyover will connect the existing flyover at Polytechnic Chauraha to provide better connectivity for commuters from Khurramnagar, Munshipulia, Dandaiya, Tedhipulia, Jankipuram, Jankipuram Extension and Kursi Road. A service lane connecting Polytechnic crossing to Indiranagar will also come up along with the flyover.
