To ease traffic congestion at the Munshipulia and Polytechnic intersections, the National Highway Department of the state has decided to build a new elevated road at an investment of ₹170 crore. It is 4-lane road project with 1800 meters length, starting from the ring road to directly connect the Polytechnic Intersection flyover. It will be elevated on pillars and built under the metro line.
