Gadkari inaugurates ₹9,240-cr 33 NH projects in Chhattisgarh

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 33 National Highway projects in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, entailing ₹9,240 crore investment. These projects are aimed to facilitate the connectivity of Chhattisgarh with Odisha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.

Once the projects are completed, a smooth road network will be available to connect the backward areas of the state with the developed ones and it will be easy to reach cultural and tourist places located at Mungeli and Kabirdham. These projects will also help in savings in fuel, travel time, distance and overall transportation cost.
