Ceigall India JV wins Rs 2,149.62 crore MoRTH contracts for Frontier Highway projects in Arunachal Pradesh

Ceigall India Limited (CIL), in a joint venture with Sushee Infra Mining Limited (SIML), has secured four Letters of Acceptance (LoAs) from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) for EPC road projects worth Rs 2,149.62 crore in Arunachal Pradesh.

The projects involve the construction of intermediate-lane roads on NH-913 (Frontier Highway). Ceigall India holds a 74% stake in the joint venture, while Sushee Infra Mining holds the remaining 26%.

The awarded projects include the Huri-Taliha section from km 0.000 to km 55.725 (Rs 521 crore), the Sarli-Huri section from km 0.000 to km 78.38 (Rs 611.10 crore), the Huri-Taliha section from km 55.725 to km 113.25 (Rs 525 crore), and the Huri-Taliha section from km 160.75 to km 209.90 (Rs 492.52 crore).

Three of the projects have a 36-month construction period followed by five years of maintenance, while the third package has a 48-month construction period with the same maintenance period.

The contracts, awarded on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis, are part of the development of the Frontier Highway, which is expected to improve connectivity and strategic road infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh.
