The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has invited bids for the up-gradation of Hanle-Chumar Road in Ladakh area of Jammu and Kashmir involving an investment of ₹241.32 crore. The project involves the construction and upgradation to NHSL specification from 29.000 km to 60.652 km (Salsa La Pass) of road Hanle Chumar under project Himank in Ladakh (UT) on the engineering procurement and construction model and it will be completed in 30 months.
