Bihar pushes ₹15,000-cr RR project in Patna

Bihar government has planned to construct ₹15,000 crore ring road projects in the state capital. It is building six ring road projects across six districts in the state. Patna is the first city in Bihar where the construction of Ring Road is happening right now with a length of 137 km. It starts at the new international airport (planned to be built in Bihta) and ends at Kanhauli. Patna’s Ring Road will connect – Naubatpur, Dumri, Beldarichak, Ramnagar, Sabalpur, Bidupur (Vaishali), Sarai, Astipur, Nayagaon, Dighwara (Saran), and Sherpur. The project is going to be completed in two phases in a joint partnership between Central and State governments. The ring road will also have two new bridges on the Ganga river. Apart from Patna, ring roads in other districts including Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Bhojpur, Katihar, Begusarai, and Chapra have also been planned.
