The Rajasthan state Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, has approved the Civil Aviation Policy, 2024. The policy includes developing a greenfield airport in Kota and an Aerocity in Jaipur. It aims to enhance aviation infrastructure with new hotels, restaurants, and related projects near airports. It will also introduce cargo services at several airports and revamp old airstrips for flying operations.
Additionally, three new flying schools will be established in Kishangarh, Jhalawar, and Bhilwara, focusing on expanding training and maintenance facilities for the aviation sector and aerospace activities.
