As many as 19 national highway projects worth ₹14,411 crore have been approved for the state of Rajasthan. The Union government has already sanctioned funds for the national highways and the construction work is set to start shortly. Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said in a recent statement that out of these, 12 projects of ₹8,885 crore are currently under construction and the remaining 7 worth ₹5,526 crore are ready to start construction.
