Rajasthan clears new road project

In order to cater to the rising traffic snarls in the area, the state government in Rajasthan has decided to build connecting road linking Keer ki Chowki to Fatehnagar. In this connection, the state PWD has recently cleared Rs.60.3 crore for widening of the road stretch between these two points connecting NH-27 to SH-9. This road is currently extremely narrow with width of 3 mtrs and with the latest scheme of things, the road will be broadened to 7 mtrs to cater to the rising vehicular traffic flow. Besides connecting NH-27, the proposed road stretch will also connect the road coming from Dabok Highway and going towards Dariba. The new connecting road stretch will pass through two major rivers as such there is also provision in the budget for submersible bridge on Bedach and Gunjali rivers, said official sources.
