Railway plans ₹100 cr MML Park in Mysuru

Mysuru, the second fastest growing city in Bengaluru, has been selected for setting up Multi-Model Logistics Park at Thandavapura on Mysuru-Nanjangud Highway on a 55-acre area by the Indian Railways. In this connection, Container Corporation of India (CCI), the executing agency of the project have acquired 55 acres of land from Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) and handed it over to the Railways. After getting physical possession of the land, the CCI has started working on the ₹100 crore Multi-Model Logistics Park. The tender for ₹59 crore has been awarded to Hyderabad-based RFC Infrastructure Company. However, farmers demanded Railway jobs for parting with their land, CCI Group General Manager (Karnataka) Dr. Anup Dayanand Sadhu, said but CCI is actively persuading the issues to commence the construction work
