3 National Highway Projects Unveiled in Telangana
The inaugurated projects include the four-laning of the 40 km Kandi to Ramsanpalle section of NH-161, a vital segment of the Indore - Hyderabad Economic Corridor. This initiative aims to streamline passenger and freight movement across Telangana, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, significantly reducing travel time between Hyderabad and Nanded.
Additionally, the Prime Minister inaugurated the upgradation of the 47 km Miryalaguda to Kodad Section of NH-167 to two lanes with paved shoulders, promising improved connectivity that will bolster tourism and spur economic activity in the region.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the six-laning of the 29 km Pune-Hyderabad Section of NH-65, promising enhanced connectivity to major industrial centers in Telangana, such as the Pashamylaram industrial area near Patancheru.
