R'sthan launches flurry of infra projects

Vasundhara Raje
The Rajasthan Chief Minister has recently launched multiple infrastructure projects including the construction of Bassi rail over bridge (ROB), Anand Lok underpass, and widening of Bambala Puliya projects falling within the Jaipur Development Authorities' jurisdiction area, said official sources, claiming that the JDA will construct ROB on railway crossing number 200 in Bassi. Apart from this, another such project at Bambala Puliya (Tonk Road) will be remodeled to make it accident-free, as this has become a virtually death trap for motorist and road users alike. The existing width of the Bambala Puliya, which is constructed over River Dravyavati on Tonk Road is 26 metre. However, due to faulty planning, the passage for vehicular traffic is narrow and the move has been aimed at rooting out these bottlenecks.
