President Droupadi Murmu Inaugurates Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University in Gorakhpur.

President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and laid the foundation stone for multiple new facilities. These include an auditorium, academic block, Panchkarma Kendra, and a new girls’ hostel.

The President lauded the university’s integrated approach to healthcare by offering education and treatment in both allopathy and Ayurveda through its medical and Ayurveda colleges and hospitals. She also expressed satisfaction with the establishment of a new 1,800-bed Shri Gorakshanath Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, calling it a significant step toward strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the region.
