Błażej & Roman took a major strategic step in December 2025 with the acquisition of the Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane, describing the purchase as a dream come true. The 800-tonne machine is the first of its type in Poland and will strengthen the company’s capabilities, particularly in the fast-growing wind energy sector. The long-standing partnership with Liebherr-Polska played a key role in the selection of the crane.

Board Member Tomasz Kasperski said the investment opens significant opportunities for the company, especially in large-scale wind power projects where higher lifting capacities are required. He added that the new crane would allow Błażej & Roman to expand its service portfolio, undertake more complex lifting tasks and strengthen its long-term market position.

The Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 is expected to enhance on-site performance and improve the company’s ability to meet rising customer expectations. The addition of the 800-tonne crane marks an important milestone in the firm’s growth strategy and its commitment to supporting Poland’s renewable energy and construction sectors.

The new 800-tonne crane will mainly be found on wind farms, where it will carry out pre-installation and maintenance work. “By providing services in the area of wind turbines, we can significantly increase our potential in this sector,” says Kasperski. “A major advantage of the LTM 1750-9.1 is its high mobility as well as its sophisticated assembly processes on the construction site.” The 800-tonne model can also transport its complete telescopic boom on public roads with a 12-tonne axle load. On the construction site, the crane installs the rear outriggers using the additional outrigger at the rear of the vehicle without the support of an auxiliary crane. The crane setup functions are powered by the chassis engine. The power train for the superstructure, comprising the engine and the hydraulics as well as an integrated ballast device, is transported separately to the site and mounted on the crane by the crane itself.

Błażej & Roman has almost 40 skilled employees and a fleet of 30 cranes, including 20 Liebherr machines. Their machines are used on both Polish and German construction sites. Over the years, the company has established a reputation as a reliable partner for demanding lifting tasks in construction, industry and the renewable energy sector. “Our long-standing collaboration with Liebherr-Polska has shown us how important it is to have reliable partners in our field of activity. We can always rely on professional support, be it in the excellent supply of spare parts and services or in the purchase process. Liebherr Polska is up to that task,” says Kasperski. “Building on this, we can in turn offer our customers reliable equipment, a high degree of flexibility and qualified personnel.”
