Poland’s Binkowski Adds Liebherr LTM 1300-6.4 Crane to Fleet in 25th Anniversary Year

He described the investment in the 300-tonne crane as a logical step driven by growing customer demand. The addition of the LTM 1300-6.4 modernises the fleet and strengthens the company’s commitment to growth and innovation. The new machine replaces the LTM 1220-5.1, a 220-tonne crane that served the company reliably for many years.
Binkowski said that while the earlier crane delivered strong performance, projects today require higher lifting capacities as prefabricated components become heavier and need to be handled at greater heights. The Liebherr LTM 1300-6.4 equips the company to meet these increasing challenges and support more complex lifting operations.
The LTM 1300 6.4 significantly expands the company’s range of applications. The higher lifting capacities and the telescopic boom with a length of 90 metres were decisive factors. The assembly of prefabricated components in building construction will be the main range of application. In addition, as an innovative company, Binkowski is open to new fields of activity. The focus is, for example, on lifting tasks in the energy sector and the assembly of tower cranes. These are new areas of application that the powerful 300-tonne crane is able to cope with. The LTM 1300-6.4 will be used for assignments both in Poland and in neighbouring countries. Binkowski is thrilled: “The new LICCON3 crane is also equipped with all innovative technologies that ensure both improved performance and more safety. These include, for example, VarioBase® Plus and VarioBallast®, but also the modern driver assistance systems.” These assistance systems include, for example, the moving off information system or blind spot information system. These significantly increase safety during daily driving operations.
For the Polish company, the compatibility of crane accessories represents another significant benefit. Binkowski also has an LTM 1230-5.1 in its fleet and can, for example, use its boom extensions and the tiltable lattice jib on the new 300-tonne crane. “The crane models complement each other ideally. This simplifies our logistics and creates synergy effects”, emphasises Binkowski in terms of the economic efficiency of its crane fleet.
For more than 20 years, the company places its trust in the reliability of the Liebherr brand. The entire fleet – currently consisting of 15 mobile cranes – comes from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen. “Our partnership with Liebherr is based on over two decades of experience and reliability. Liebherr Polska provides us with excellent support in all areas. The team is an excellent partner for us in terms of service and the availability of spare parts”, reports Binkowski, explaining the decision why he and his company rely on Liebherr cranes.
