PM Modi Lays Foundation for ₹660 Cr Railway Projects in Jharkhand
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated multiple railway projects worth over ₹660 crore in Tatanagar, Jharkhand. Key projects include the Madhupur Bypass line in Deoghar district and the Hazaribagh Town Coaching Depot in Hazaribagh district. The Madhupur Bypass will reduce train detention on the Howrah-Delhi mainline and cut travel time between Giridih and Jasidih. The Hazaribagh Depot will aid in the maintenance of trains at the station.
PM Modi also inaugurated the Kurkura-Kanaroan rail doubling project, part of the Bondamunda-Ranchi section, which will boost the movement of goods and passengers. Additionally, four road under bridges (RUBs) were opened to improve public safety.
In support of the Housing for All mission, PM Modi distributed sanction letters to 32,000 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) in Jharkhand and released the first installment of aid. He also participated in the Griha Pravesh ceremony for 46,000 beneficiaries.
