PM Launches Phase-II of Ahmedabad Metro to Connect Ahmedabad & Gandhinagar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated Phase-II of the Ahmedabad Metro project, extending the rail network to connect Ahmedabad with Gandhinagar. The new 21 km section, comprising eight stations, aims to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and enhance transportation between the two cities. This expansion is part of the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation's (GMRC) broader initiative to support urban mobility in the region.
