Speaking during the session on "Strengthening Multilateralism, Economic-Financial Affairs, and Artificial Intelligence," PM Modi emphasized that diversity and multipolarity are core strengths of BRICS. He noted that amid global uncertainty, the relevance of BRICS is more evident than ever and the group can play a vital role in shaping a multipolar world.

PM Modi presented four key proposals: the BRICS New Development Bank should adopt a demand-driven, sustainable project approach; a BRICS science and research repository should be created to support Global South nations; efforts must be made to secure and strengthen critical mineral supply chains; and BRICS should promote responsible AI governance while also encouraging innovation.
