The Prime Minister launched a flurry of infrastructure projects across the state including laying the foundation stones at Dwarka for four-lane cable stayed Signature Bridge between Okha and Beyt at a cost of Rs 962.42 crore and also the six-laning of 201-km Ahmedabad-Rajkot section of NH-47 at an investment of Rs 2,893 crore. He also laid the foundation stone of the green field airport at a distance of 20 km from Rajkot city. Other projects for which foundation stones were laid include four-laning of 116.24 km of Porbandar-Dwarka section of NH-51 and also four-laning of 93.56 km of Gadu-Porbandar section of NH-51.
