Piyush Goyal Proposes Startup Township, India's Own Silicon Valley

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal proposed the idea of creating a dedicated township for startups to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. He suggested that India could have its own Silicon Valley, building on Bengaluru's existing reputation as the country's tech hub. Goyal emphasized the need to go beyond current achievements, possibly collaborating with the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) to establish an ecosystem where entrepreneurs, incubators, and innovators can thrive.
