The government of Odisha has launched projects worth ₹4,779 crore that include building the Subarnarekha port and scores of roads across the state, such as the ₹350 crore ring road around Baleswar, bridge projects of ₹204 crore over river Subarnarekha near Pantei Ghat, and a ₹35 crore.hi-tech business tower in the pattern of Fortune Tower of Bhubaneswar. The Pantei bridge would provide direct connectivity between Basta and Bhograi, and the Subarnarekha port would pave the way for making north Odisha an economic hub, as after commissioning the port with rail links, the trade and commerce activities will get a major boost. The 28km ring road would be completed in three phases by three different agencies. The defence is constructing around 13 km road and the remaining portion would be built by the state’s road building agencies, the CM said in a statement.
