C&C Construction has been awarded a project by Ministry of Defence, Sultanate of Oman, for connecting the upper Surfeit & Sea to Surfeit with an investment of $15,387,765.51. The project will be commissioned by March 31, 2020, informed the company. In a related development, its joint venture company C&C ESM has received an order from the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India involving an investment of ₹124.2 crore. The scope of work in the contract includes construction of a double line rail flyover including approach portion between Ganjkhwaja- Mughalsarai railway stations. The work has to be completed within 18 months from the date of issue of letter of acceptance. The stake of C&C Construction in this joint venture is 51 percent.
