Nitin Gadkari Approves Road Infra Upgrades Ahead of Simhastha Kumbh Mela

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has given in-principle approval for the comprehensive upgrade of roads leading to Nashik in preparation for the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela. The city is connected by eight key routes, including those from Mumbai, Palghar, Pune, Ahilyanagar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dhule, and neighbouring Gujarat.
In addition to these major routes, the improvement of internal roads connecting Nashik to national highways was also discussed. Gadkari has approved nearly all proposed roadworks, with assurance that the necessary funding will be released soon to ensure timely completion.
