NHIDCL floats tender for ₹245-cr road project

The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has floated tender for road up-gradation in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir entailing an investment of ₹245.39 crore. The scope of work involves the construction and up-gradation of the existing road length into two-lane with paved shoulder from design 31.449 km (Khellani) (ex 44.946 km) to 51.700 km (Prem Nagar) (ex 68.617 km). The 20.251 km long road length on Khellani-Kishtwar-Chattroo section of NH-244 is to be constructed on engineering, procurement and construction model (Package-I) with a completion period of 18 months.
