NHAI Completes 72 km Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway Stretch in Karnataka

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has completed the 72 km stretch of the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway within Karnataka. Although the construction had advanced significantly, the project faced delays in Jinnagara due to objections from local villagers over relocating the Guddamma Temple situated on a small hillock. For over two years, NHAI worked with the district administration and state government officials to resolve the issue. Last week, NHAI successfully shifted the temple, allowing the final 500-meter stretch of road to be completed.
