NHAI awards Rs.4,493 cr road contracts in Telangana

NHAI recently awarded four road projects in Telangana entailing an investment of Rs.4,493.57 crore under Bharamala programs. In this connection, the NHAI has issued LoA for development of 188.15 km of National Highways in Telangana on EPC and Hybrid Annuity Models. The projects include Rs.1,201.62 crore four laning of 39.98 km stretch on NH-161 from Kandi to Ramsanpalle on EPC model, awarded to GKC Projects Ltd. Another Rs.1,220.83 crore project pertains to four laning of 46.60 km of NH-161 from Ramsanpalle village to Mangloor village on Hybrid Annuity Model and this project is awarded to KNR Constructions. The NHAI statement said that in addition to this, Rs.1,082.65 crore project for four laning of 48.96 stretch on NH-161 from Mangloor village to Telangana/Maharashtra border has been awarded on Hybrid Annuity Model to Dilip Buildcon. Besides Rs.988.47 crore projects for four laning of 52.60 km stretch on NH-363 from Repallewada to Telangana /Maharashtra Border on EPC model has been awarded to GKC Projects. Similarly, DBL has received LoA from the NHAI for a new Hybrid Annuity Project entailing an investment of Rs.1004 crore.
